The cabinets in the kitchen were so short they came up almost tomy knee's. Apparently Laura was quite a bit shorter than me!
They have beautiful grounds at the Wilder home! Quite inspiring! Laura wrote all the little house books at this home. The back stairs in the house are so small that only children and very, very skinning adults could fit up between the walls!

I am reading the last book in the series to the kids. It's neat to see the house where they were written. Enjoying your blog already.
